Teen Animation Workshop with Tyrone “ZeroSnake” Motley In-Person
For teens in grades 5 – 12. This hands-on workshop will introduce teens to the foundations of animation through character design, sequential drawing, and simple storyboarding. Using flipbooks, light boxes, and digital capture, students will learn both traditional and modern animation techniques. Each participant will leave with a completed flipbook they have animated themselves.
The workshop will be led by Tyrone “ZeroSnake” Motley, a Connecticut-based illustrator, animator, and educator whose work blends traditional art with contemporary pop culture. Tyrone has experience teaching in schools, libraries, and museums.
This program is made possible through the Connecticut State Department of Education’s Regional School Choice Office (RSCO). Registration is required.
